Sara Louise Benefield
A Florida native, my relationship with nature has always been a source of inspiration, grounding, and connection. Growing up with an understanding of natural science and surrounded by Florida’s wild ecosystems, I learned early on that nature is always moving through cycles of change, adaptation, and renewal.
My journey into yoga began through my love of movement. With over nine years in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist, I developed a deep appreciation for strength, resilience, and intelligence of the human body. Over time, I discovered that true wellness extends beyond physical strength. It comes from cultivating awareness, finding balance, and creating a deeper connection between body, mind, and spirit.
Yoga became a place where these elements could come together, where strength meets softness, movement meets stillness, and we learn to honor the ever-changing seasons within ourselves.
I believe we are much like the ocean. Constantly shifting, ebbing, and flowing while remaining deeply connected to our own inner rhythm. Through intentional movement, mindful breath, and moments of reflection, my intention is to guide students back toward themselves and create a practice that supports them through every season of life.
Whether you are seeking strength, restoration, healing, or simply a moment to reconnect, yoga offers an opportunity to come home to yourself. One breath, one movement, and one wave at a time.
